Yeah I was thinking this as I read the article. Like - what is the author’s voice here? The title suggested ‘La Toya was right all along and maybe we should have listened and isn’t that a little bit sad’, but the content of the article is much bitchier, snipier and cutting, still basically alluding that La Toya still

Still amazing that there is a debate going on about Michael Jackson. People often point to his acquittal in the last trial but it was the original 1993 arrest and $25 million payoff that made his pedophilia painfully obvious. The evidence and testimony were so overwhelming that he knew he had to throw a huge sum of

Exactly.

I think what people forget now is that the last 10-15 years of his life he couldn’t sell records or tours, he was broke and most people thought he was a freak. He was turned into a saint after he died, but I think lots of people did believe the allegations and pulled away when he was alive.

Horrific abuse is really the only thing that can explain the state of everyone in that family.

I think you’re right: it’s both. The Jackson family household was rife with abuse of all kinds and La Toya later milked the truth of their upbringing for attention.

I was born in 88 so I feel like my memory isn’t the best on the Jacksons, but I thought she recently claimed that she said all of these things because of her ex-husband? I always wondered if she was telling the truth about what happened in that home. I have always hated the bs excuse of Michael “not having a

Ehhh, I thought the Bundy show on Netflix was a good investigation of how easy it is to get away with anything when you’re a good looking young white man who appears well-educated.  Probably something our society needs to examine a little more.

This whole thing reminds me of the Netflix “documentary” The Staircase. It’s about a guy who is accused of murdering his wife by pushing her down the stairs, but he says she fell and the only reason he was convicted was because the local DA’s office had a personal vendetta against him. I started watching it and then

Many late-transitioning males who identify as women do so out of a fetish for sexual submission (it’s what “being a woman” means to them), so for them the “fraught experience” and loss of social power is part of the thrill.

Pretty much. Or he would have skipped out a few months after the kid was born, and he realized babies are a lot of fucking work.

Of course, if she *had* had the baby, but didn’t want it and gave it to him, he would sue her for palimony...

The Woman’s mistake was in telling the ManBaby anything. She should have done what she needed to do without saying a word to him. None of his business.

It was just like my whole world fell apart.” Because there’s no world ender like not having something that you weren’t expecting and then six weeks later still not having it.

Forceful submission or domination of another according to your will, without the other’s consent, is called SLAVERY. Slavery is illegal in the US, except in cases of incarceration. So unless and until ‘getting pregnant’ becomes a criminal offense, this whole pro-life hypocrisy can go shove it.

This shit infuriates me. In terms of rhetoric alone, this is the most pandering, simpering, weak-minded bullshit I’ve read this week. “The Mother” bullshit aside, this “Baby Roe” nonsense is pure tripe. Naming the baby while dehumanizing the woman involved is such a naked attempt at emotional manipulation.

His whole argument basically boils down to a man having the right to suspend a woman’s rights during a 10 month stretch wherein she temporarily loses her personhood. Not that men’s rights as fathers are the actual goal here.

They just want this to go all the way. Up to Trump’s supreme court.
