One of the better Pixar sequels for sure. It’s far more of a kids’ movie than the first one is, and it’s got some fun sequences along the way. The touching pool with all the kids’ hands coming down from above like missile strikes in a war movie was particularly effective. ‘HANDS!’

I think it’s worth saying that not only does this movie do a tremendous job of portraying sadness, it does an even more powerful job of portraying depression and despair.
