|The 2020 Hyundai Sonata looks good

That front end is still horrific to me. It seems overdesigned and underdeveloped. might I suggest a little more throwback to old Hyundai while keeping some of the more striking features - a la my quick Photoshop

It has literally turned me into a customer. I ride (Sv650s) and will never price compare anywhere because of how good Ryan’s content is. He makes RevZilla look like complete knobs. Smart, educational and entertaining Moto vids is what I want. And F9 always delivers.

Traction control on the NC’s are pretty bad.  I sometimes have a hard time getting out of my own way if it’s rainy because traction control cuts power to nothing.

Tell me about it. Maybe I’m lucky I grew up in New England driving slow analog beaters, but there are people equating learning what should be pretty basic emergency driving skills to hoonigan drifting through school zones on bring-grandma-to-school day. I don’t know who’s more scared—the kids who couldn’t be bothered

While there is no doubt a reason this stuff comes standard on cars now, I don’t think it can be as cut and dry as ‘here’s the reason. Now just accept it’. Cars get heavier to deal with crash ratings or way more powerful and adaptive systems are designed to help hide some of the effects. Company A makes an emergency

But what if these systems don’t actually work right? For example, the traction control on my car is so bad it’s downright dangerous in snow. I have to turn it off or else the car tries to cut power at inopportune times, or steer me into a ditch. Generally, I like to not feel like my car is trying to kill me.

One time, Patrick invited me to get lunch with him. So we went to Planet Hollywood in Times Square, one door down from Jalopnik HQ. We ordered, then he realized he had a more important meeting to go to, and left me to eat a soggy salad by myself in the most depressingly cheerful restaurant I’ve ever been in.

I Bought The Cheapest Manual Jeep ZJ In the Country; You Will Never Guess What Happened Next!

For the love of god expose for shadows and stop smashing your highlights slider down in post. The third one down (portrait oriented with the curb), is obviously running a slow enough shutter speed handheld that the subject isn’t sharp, and it’s STILL under exposed.

That is a good point, bar the Renegade (the trailhawk as the regular base one can go die alone, unloved and covered in faecal matter) there isn’t any cheap, small and roadable compact SUVs that are good offroad. I mean from personal experience, a small SUV that can offroad is almost the perfect car, my Freelander is

This will sell like hotcakes.

I don’t hate this. It looks better than any other electric SUV out there, and the mustang cues are tastefully done. This is a huge deal for Ford. I hope to see these everywhere.

I, uhh... I really like them both.

Mockingly suggests Lexus was tarted-up Toyotas, ignores majority of Infiniti *was* tarted-up Nissans.

Chick I dated back in college (around or about summer/fall of 06 or spring/summer of 07) drove a white and black 92' that her grandmother had bought new, given to her mother, who gave it to her uncle, who gave it to her. the paint was crap, but the inside was still decent, aside from the expected wear on a cheap GM

Methanol injection is quite common in the aftermarket for turbo vehicles, and is there to cool the charge, not give it a nitrous style boost, like the article implies. The methanol mixture is actually half water.

Shower thought: Is it still a rear main seal if the engine is mounted sideways?

A Chevy will run badly for longer than most cars run.

A&W kicks Barqs butt. A&W has that delightful creaminess and vanilla at the end. A&W is so great in a float too, a scoop of vanilla is a perfect compliment. Barqs is for those who just want to say they dran ka root beer and didn’t really care what it tasted like.
