Flex is dead long live the Expedition?
Dammit. Forgot to black out the stupid chrome lower valence.
Looks way better with the grille partially blacked out IMO.
Thank you. Someone else who hates that nonsense. It becomes so much worse at a 3/4 view on cars like the Ford Focus or Toyota Prius where you can clearly see that the beltline ends about two feet higher than it starts and looks absolutely ridiculous. It’s like someone parked the car on a hill.
I set that clip to my text alert on my phone. It’s glorious.

The power plant frame is a metal girder (essentially) that bolts onto the transmission and goes back to bolt onto the differential, locating them relative to each other but not relative to the body of the car. The dif has two mounts to the chassis but they aren’t terribly robust.
The 1.6 NA had no bracing whatsoever. Chassis was about as stiff as a taco bell burrito.
I had an NA6 for a year and I’m now 6 months into ownership of a 2002 NB2 and I can say without reservation that the NB kicks the absolute shit out of the NA. Far stiff chassis, better nvh, much quicker, crisper handling, the looks are pretty subjective but the projector headlights are FAR better for actually seeing…
Cheap car that looks like an Opel Speedster? It’s been done.
DX4 is where it’s at.
Just me? Just me. Cool.
NP all day. Regardless of power that is a meticulously preserved classic car, nay, time capsule that would be a treat to own and cruise in. Horsepower is about as relevant in this situation as “massage seats” or “radar cruise control”.
Don’t lie. That’s what you look like, too.

Yes but in the first Cars movie they threaten to take out Lightning’s engine and put it in a paving machine, implying that the soul/mind of the beings in Cars is contained in the engine. Of course, this could still be explained by your “they’ve existed for so long they have forgotten what they are and legitimately…
Early-90s B13 Nissan Sentras had the same weird belt arrangement on an even flimsier car. It was not confidence-inspiring. As shown in this picture, many people would convert it to a b-pillar belt.
We had trackers on all of ours. Some of them had disablers to keep the car from starting. Lots of fun when people got out of line with death threats or something like that. Gonna talk shit? You aren’t going to work today.
Rule34 in a nutshell.
It just seems like there should be more capillaries and stuff oozing blood out. I can’t even prick my finger without bleeding all over the place so seeing incisions that large without a red mess everywhere is astonishing to me.
