My mom has a base automatic Sky, the more attractive twin to the Solstice. Short wheelbase + wide tires, handles great, the automatic is garbage though. Feels like driving a wind-up toy. It’s her only car, I dunno how she manages with that trunk

No, I don’t want to give him a participation award because half of his “why buy this perfectly good new car with a warranty when you could buy this unreliable used luxury car” articles are stupid clickbait bullshit, but if I was writing an article and thought “The 3800 is a great engine. Based off of an old LS block,…
Oh fuck off. You can’t expect him to reasonably know every bit of trivia about shit like this, although he tries and is confident enough in his memory to get it wrong sometimes. Whup-de-do.
That is/was a rule.
Damn. Beat me to it.
Did someone say 3800?
Easily, but the project was abandoned due to the inability to fire a gun while flying it. Can’t shoot? Nobody gave a shit.
Imagine a world where these became viable. People flying around shooting rifles from little hover-capsules.
The Spark gets a surprising amount of go-go out of its 80hp. I really wanna drive a Brabus now, though. I hope we get some here in Kansas. Sad for no 3-pedal but I bet it’s still a hoot and a half.
Cool! I drove a previous generation auto ForTwo back-to-back with a manual Daewoo Chevrolet Spark and honestly the Spark came across as a far peppier feeling tossable tiny car, and it had four doors! The Spark had the world’s worst gearbox though. Are you in gear? Out of gear? Let out the clutch and discover the…
4WD Tahoes aren’t pursuit rated.
2WD Tahoe is pursuit rated. The only vehicle rated to jump curbs at 60mph with no damage. The suspension setup on those is ridiculous and spine-crushing.
Working at a Chevy dealership I can say with certainty that the current generation of police-spec 2WD Tahoes proves you completely wrong. I have driven many of these and they’re stunning. The only vehicle rated to jump a curb at 60mph with no damage, they corner flatter than a Corvette C7 Stingray (base model), and…
Also they NAILED the paint scheme.
Cool LeSabres?
I remember that.
Not really. Cadillac makes the nicest cars in the US and the “overpriced Tahoe” is easily their most luxurious vehicle.
Hahahahahaha. Nope. The current Escalade is the single most incredibly luxurious vehicle made in the US. It’s a damn shame CUE (and the center stack in general) sucks so much donkey wang.
Thing is, Cadillac used to go toe-to-toe with the best Europe had back in the 50s. Cadillac was a name known world-wide for incomprehensible luxury, but the U.S. Economy did its best and smashed harsh reality into the face of that luxury and we ended up with a Cadillac that “made” stuff like this.
That’s actually super nifty. Carry on.
