“If you can read this in French, I’ll bet you can’t get this baby on two wheels”

in French, it reads: “the same thing, but in french”. literally it says that.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh but, one could use the same logic to say that police brutality isn’t really a problem because it’s fairly rare.

I hate mandatory minimums. I hate the cultural focus on prison as the only solution for crime and criminals.

THANK YOU.  Forced generosity or charity is neither.  Also, sorry, not sorry, I don’t want to be the guy who has the cheap and easy order having to pay for the family of 6 behind me - I don’t have to justify my reasons, but sometimes people just can’t afford it.

The pay it forward thing has always been the dumbest thing imaginable. It’s performative charity for people who don’t need it. Want to feel good? Donate time or money to an actual cause. Or, as this article wisely suggests, tip the workers.

Can’t wait for the “How I Thrive As A Single Mom” tour. And the endless “happy blended family” stories when he knocks up someone else. I hope for that kid’s sanity that there is a grain of truth in all that future PR. ‘Cause having a drug addled Peter Pan and a failed Pick Me as parents is gonna be rough.

Do you have a link supporting this? I’m not talking about the article you posted above. Do you have a link supporting “the left” calling for people to get fired? The leftists I know tend to be pro working class. To be fair, they don’t worry about New York Times op-ed writers. Do we even agree on what defines “the left,

Same thing happened to me in 1957 (except for the Courteney Cox part) at The Chalmers A. Parker Isle of Charm in Denver. My forelock stuck straight out from my head like a gangplank for almost all of 6th grade.

Well, AMT and Mulaney also appeared to be “thriving” on Instagram for quite some time, so I wouldn’t put much store by what he’s posting on Instagram (although who doesn’t love a new baby, and for the baby’s sake, I hope it’s true and remains true for quite some time).

The only cancel culture I experience is from people with big platforms complaining about cancel culture.

I mean, given the Catholic Church’s history of abuse and exploitation, it makes sense he’d hate consequences culture and want to speak out against it.

I have a strong suspicion that the Mulaney/Munn story is going to lose steam because people have made up their minds about the people involved. Consequently, I feel like in a few months there will be a continuation of little leaks of things like new pictures, rumors of how they are doing, etc. to keep this story

I think he knows it really doesn’t matter what he says, regardless of how contradictory or absurd.

Do you think he realizes what he's saying and hopes we don't notice or he's just that clueless?

“Perhaps it slipped his mind that the Catholic Church is arguably history’s foremost, greatest, and most ruthless colonizer.”

My brain does not allow me to remember who Olivia Munn is.

There’s snark but not about the 25 year old.

My take was that it wasn’t directed at the skater, it’s more a pointed comment at the juxtaposition of all the headlines from various outlets saying “Oldest figure skater in the 95 year history of the sport qualifies for the US Olympic Team.” or “Oldest figure skater in 95 years wins US championships.” etc with the

I suppose by sending 16yr old to the Olympics they're less likely to comprehend how their "mentors" are basically pimping them out to big business and whatever dictatorship its going to be held in next....
