Here’s my sketchiest.

So I had this guy who stopped into look at buying my truck. Took it for a test drive, pointed out the problems and he said he’d think about it.

It’s pretty interesting that I never hear this kind of talk on stories about male victims regardless of who their gender of their abuser is. I’ve also never seen video on what man need to know not be raped.

You stand by victim blaming, instead of placing the blame on the predator who acted violently. Got it.

Ya, it boggles my mind that the Democratic strategy is still “court middle-of-the-road people” as if there are any of those left at this point.

Pretty much any law crafted to appease the media masses is a bad law. Pretty much every law named after dead kids for instance.

They exist for no other reason than to be touted in political ads by law-n-order types.

Yes, all. There should be no place for that kind of inflexibility in a justice system.

And zero tolerance is fucking stupid.  Not many things are so cut and dry; things need nuance, and one of them that needs it the most is the application of the law.

... and this is why the “tough on crime” mandatory minimum sentences (which always seem to end up equalling “life in prison”, somehow) are simply bad public policy.

Mandatory minimum laws are obscene in all instances.
