This guy?:
Clam chowder, whale penis, the color white! I love the fact that Melville devoted an entire chapter to pretty much anything that interested him.
There’s no stink on McGregor’s performance. Unlike Solo, this is a prequel project fans were actually asking for.
McGregor was one of the few bright spots of the prequels. I’d gladly watch more of him channeling Sir Alec’s performance. Frankly I’m a bit miffed that Disney decided to do a young Han Solo film when there was much more demand for an Kenobi story.
I don’t believe Harrington has the gravitas for Namor. Namor commands attention and respect through presence alone. I think that’d be tough for Harrington to sell.
Which means it’s likely to appear in every comic for the next year, in 20-odd different comics per month. Some “disrespect,” huh?
Clearly also hasn't seen the bonus features after Endgame.
in the comics
“....never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency.”
To tack onto my last post, here’s what JC Lee is accused of (per CBR.com, summarizing a Hollywood Reporter Article):
I’m shocked that the AV Club didn’t acknowledge that JC’s accused behavior was elder abuse (physical and emotional). Anyone accused of such behavior in that much detail probably wouldn’t be getting a condolence call from a company that likes a queeky clean image.
“When my father died, no one from Marvel or Disney reached out to me.”
And?
Am I just being cold? Not sure what the beef is here.
And haven’t they shown Stan “genuine respect” by giving him producer credits, cameos, and paying tribute to him pretty regularly (in the comics as well as the films), especially in light of…
Given Joan’s role in the stuff that went on around the end of his life, I’m not inclined to look seriously at her speaking for her father.
Never showed the man respect?? He’s been in every movie, they constantly reference him in press and awards and I just don’t know what more she’s expecting. Look at the respect that any major creative like Lee gets and he’s pretty much at the top for credit and respect.
He was doing cameos and speaking about their films in glowing terms right up until his death.
So either her opinion on the situation disagrees with Lee’s own, he was willing to put up with all of that to encourage the continuing monetizing of his creative output, or both. I totally believe that the average Disney exec…
Well, if anyone can save Tom Spiderman, it’s The Hawksguy!
“from the studio that brought you Beverly hills Chihuahua"
Come on, they already have the solution. Tom Holland is Night Monkey!
Can’t expand on the relationship between Happy and May either which I thought was actually an interesting development.
