During which decade do you think you will finally have to include STAR CITIZEN on the list? And will it be in the context of describing a triumph, or a debacle?

Nic Cage typically cranks out 5-6 movies per year (seriously), and his tastes have always been conspicuously eccentric, so I am not surprised that at least one per year is a catastrophic misfire. He’ll be on annual “worst of” lists for as long as he keeps working at this pace.
I thought it was the Matt Damon puppet from TEAM AMERICA!
When he turned up on S4 of 24, anyone who had seen him in his myriad of early-career bad guy roles (including myself) must have been thinking “here we go again.” And then he turned out to be a fundamentally good, helpful guy who is on the receiving end of terrible behavior (huge understatement) by the series hero. I…
You never saw MASH? Or BENSON? Or DS9? Or tens of thousands of hours of other movies / TV series / video games he’s in? (I would bet you have, but you just might not have known at the time that it was him.)
For some reason I didn’t think Frain was old enough to be considered a “that guy” candidate. It must mean that I have gotten old... :/
I can’t wait for the crossover with MORTAL COMBAT...
Mo’Nique.
Sneaky best-case scenario: The interview may be his way of trying to smoke out a better agent.
100% agree. It’s nice to stick on his CV, but nobody outside his circle of friends saw this movie because of him. I hope this guy did not think that this movie would be an easy ticket to mega-stardom, and that his phone would start ringing off the hook.
Sounds like a “pity hire” by Disney. I can’t imagine there is much fanbase support for bringing back memories of Jar-Jar. In fact quite the opposite.
George Lucas is eyerolling like crazy at Disney right now.
You got me there. No I did not see CHRONICLE. You recommend it?
He was great in BLACK PANTHER and not great in FANTASTIC FOUR. So he’s 1-1 with superhero movies. Still, if he insists on doing superhero movie #3, I would rather he not wade into controversy by playing Superman.
Damn, there goes another series before I had even heard about it.
Where has Tim Miller been his whole life to not know you can’t successfully second-guess Jim Cameron?
That would be Juliette Binoche, who I myself also mistake for Julia Ormond at this point in her life.
FIRST KNIGHT of the Living Dead
Jared Leto to the rescue!
