I actually like it. I think it’s a pretty ideal car for tons of people. Really compact CUVs are pretty darn practical vehicles for a lot of the population now that their gas mileage isn’t that much different than their car equivalents. Let them trade a bit of handling for their preferred height for entry/visibility.

Yes, but everyone’s insurance is more expensive because getting hit at 3mph causes $1500 in damage.

I don’t think a new car other than a race car has been made with manual brakes in 40+ years.

I’ve had to restart my FiST multiple times to get the radio to turn on before. It amazes me that so many companies can’t figure this stuff out in the year of our Gourd 2018.

Screens are silly in a car at the least, and dangerous more than likely.

The sheer amount of losses chalked up to stupid or otherwise unnecessary infotainment systems is silly.

But...that is like saying: “This P-51 Mustang was painted to match the armed forces colours of 1944"

This article is so full of inaccuracies it is hard to know where to begin.

I think you blame online retailers, then blame foreigners, then blame Obama, then call everyone a communist, then change the bun to brioche and add aged cheddar cheese then charge $17 for an artisan burger which only cost $0.12 extra to make.

“What’s the matter? You apes want to live forever?”

Its like they have some kind of thinking impairment, or something else preventing them from making clear and cogent decisions or something.

It’s his own fault. If he lived in the US, he wouldn’t have had health insurance so he couldn’t have had surgery. Problem solved.

That was lies, as we all now know.

This is the perfect plan for some one who wants to escape their city, gradually, in daily 10-mile increments and who is a) wary of Greyhound b) unable to walk c) too ominous-looking to hitchhike

On a more sober note, I believe the sole motivation to build this was to counter the claims from people saying “I wouldn’t be seen dead in one of them”.

Levandowski, who was acting as the safety driver, swerved hard to avoid colliding with the Camry, causing Taylor to injure his spine so severely that he eventually required multiple surgeries.

“The financial system is at fault!”

No one is forcing anyone to buy something they can’t afford. And I’m not talking about predatory practices from lenders or shady dealers, that is a whole other story.

Eventually, long after we have killed ourselves off, someone or something will show up on Earth and find a copy of Idiocracy, and it will be regarded as the most accurate documentary ever created by humankind.

The trend of small cramped tables with way too many things on them (Do we really need a 4foot wide bread-basket? 3 butter dishes?) and HUGE plates with 6" of sprinkled herbs bordering the 4" serving of whatever it is on the plate has been one of the leading questions in my mind. In a picture, that looks cool and all,
