Yeah, I think it works mostly as a fascinating comparison to the iconic poster. We instantly recognize it admits both the same but strikingly changed from what we’ve seen thousands of times. 

It is definitely creepy. I do really like the starkness and simplicity of the black and grey, too.

Agreed, but somehow, it’s also more terrifying in its...simpleness/alienness/creepyness. I don’t hate it, but it’s also not quite right either.

Boo to Joseph Fiennes being nominated! Boo! Hiss!

Kyle MacLachlan not being nominated for Twin Peaks is one of the biggest snubs I’ve ever seen. I didn’t expect TW to get comprehensive nomination coverage (though it should have), but it seemed like he’d be a shoo-in.

I would have not read that article based on the title alone.

Spoilers, but...yeah, in the cinema I saw it there was a wave of laughter when the headless body took the spook lift up to the treehouse.   Also, the son being possessed by what looked like Tinkerbell.

Pretty sure some people in my theater were laughing during those scenes...

I’m with you. A couple of good albums, but completely and totally irrelevant for at least 20 years. Apparently still alive.

He gets a lot of shit and I guess understandably so but I still think Dream of the Blue Turtles holds up very well and is a classic.
