Even when they do capture the horror, they have like 10% of the richness of his plots. The recent It movie was really good, but there were parts of 2-3 lines in the movie that took up entire chapters in the book, like the fire at the Black Spot. I guess that’s an apples/oranges kind of thing, but I think his writing…

Just so. Also, Stephen King has written 40,000 books (roughly) perhaps there’s one or two that don’t already have a movie? Why not make them?
