I’m always amazed at how often King uses the abusive/domineering mother trope when he always spoke lovingly of his own mother and how hard she worked to support him and his brother. He uses a ton of stuff from his personal life (addiction, unpopular nerd, affairs) in his work, I just find it odd that he sticks so much…

There’s a lot of great stuff in The Tommyknockers but there’s even MORE bad/unnecessarily repeated stuff. How many fucking times was going to do the “someone outside suspects something is wrong in the town, goes to investigate, is dealt with”?

I was really thrown by the talking head scene. It doesn’t seem consistent with the “zombie rules” the show has established so far. 

IMO, “Blue Bloody” has been the low point of the season so far, maybe the entire series. I really disliked that episode.

Yeah, the only time the show comes close to its former glory these days is when they have David Paulides come on and give missing person reports. Some of those accounts are fucking spooky.
