I really liked how the episode has shown that Jason changed too. So far it was clear how everyone evolved and became better versions of themselves but Jason seemed to be the same doofus (good-hearted but still). Now, it’s obvious that he has evolved too and learnt some self-awareness and to think not just act.

We all wondered what will happen with Simone when the show drops and I loved that Eleanor, who has been her friend for months, has pointed out to Chidi Simone has a life besides him and she will get over him. He is not condemning her to the Bad Place either way. She is her own person and it’s her choices that matter…

I never knew how much I needed to see Tahani meet her in-laws until she did. Her faces from the couch for the ENTIRE Double Trouble pitch were amazing.

Vegetarians always get shafted when it comes to substitutions. For example restaurants will often charge to substitute two slices of fresh tomato for the bacon/ham/sausage that comes with a standard breakfast. In what world is 1/3 of a tomato more expensive than two breakfast sausages?

I personally thought this episode was the best one thus far. And can we give a shout out to HTGAWM for actually having compelling ancillary characters. They managed to turn Nate into a character I actually care about and they’re also giving him so hefty material. But it’s working.

I’ve never understood why it’s supposed to be a bad thing that they’re creatively using up still-good product that would otherwise have to be thrown out. As long as it tastes good I’m happy to eat it.
