I had the same thought. If Dwight actually came out because of this and then said something about how difficult it has been for him, I’d instantly reframe all of his past behavior and start rooting for him.

On a sadder note, what if this whole story is true and he’s actually gotten a reputation for being a horrible teammate just because people didn’t approve of his sexuality? That’d be extremely shitty.

To be fair, Rodgers is missing two of his top three receivers and playing a lot of downs with two rookies.  Geronimo Allison has the makings of a real solid #2, and Randall Cobb has been good enough to serve as a #3.  Having both of them out has hurt the passing game considerably.

I believe Rodger’s is through propping McCarthy and Co. up. Frustration has stacked up. Under prepared and under conditioned targets, personnel decisions( Jordy, QB coach, Running Back), poor special teams play, clock management, play design and calling, and defensive penalties to name some of the issues. Honestly I think he’s just doing exactly what McCarthy says. I feel like he’s been changing things at the line for years and the success of his rebel playcalling has been enough to keep it secret.
