Honestly, I think a lot of fans would be fine with it if it meant the team was winning. DC may be where Trump lives, but it’s not his backyard. DC loathes him. The other side of the Potomac into Maryland is a different story.

Okay, that’s just ridiculous. The last time we saw Kaep play in 2016, he was pretty solid - 16/4 TD/INT ratio (4 TDs for every INT), 90.7 passer rating. Not superstar levels, no, but a solid mid-tier starter.
The NFC East is a trash pile, and Washington is sitting atop it. Colt McCoy doesn’t keep them there. Kaepernick would give them a far better chance, but you keep mindlessly thumbing your pucker if it makes you feel good.
