I still use one at work. I have my work laptop/dock that uses DVI and my linux “test” machine that have HDMI and annoying daisy-chain of dongles making all the stuff work with my DVI/VGA monitors.

The FitBit One comes with a soft (non-silicone) wrist band that can be worn for the alarm function. This introduces the issue of remembering to move it from your pocket/silicone pocket clip to the wrist band, but it’s doable (I leave mine next to my toothbrush, so I see it before I go to bed).
