Basically, all this means, is that they are a step closer to admitting their “warehouses” are just third party droppshippers, and they do not hold any actual inventory. As multiple companies can use the same dropshipper for inventory, stock numbers often change too quickly for any 1 retailer to keep up. This would

It was awesome while it lasted, and I had an awesome time geeking out over beauty products with you all. Thanks for everything you did Jane Marie, and all of the writers who contributed.

I tend to favor orange red and oxbloods more, but the closest thing to a classic red I have in my collection is YSL Rouge Pur Couture in #01

I think I am the only person on the planet who is roundly “meh” about Russian Red and Ruby Woo. Neither is awful, and I’m not anti red lipstick, but both just seem a little too safe to me.

I generally skew with matte for bright colors. Super glossy brights are an epic pain in the ass to keep from migrating, and can easily skew a bit teen pop star circa mid 90’s for my liking.

This lipstick is lovely on you. I actually like the lip here the best out of the 3 options. Caveat: I’m a sucker for orange lips.

I do my own brows. Waxing/threading techs always want to give me horrible super thin perma surprise brows. Keeping my thick arches is worth the hassle of doing it myself.

I second the James Perse. Flattering, super soft, and can be found on good sale pricing with a bit of digging

I have lipstick that matches that eyeshadow, though I wouldn’t wear both at the same time. One or the other? Absolutely.

Aside from Beautique, that Brandi is so kind as to review for us each month, there are the Asian beauty boxes that I know of (as not all of them are strictly focused on Korean product, and will occasionally include items from other countries as well):

Blue undertone darker skin tones look lovely in an orange lip. Never say never ;)

I’m edging closer and closer to subscribing to one of the Korean boxes. Considering how much I spend at the Korean beauty shops, this is definitely a so bad its good idea.

I scanned this post about morning for the words “espresso” or “coffee”, and neither was on the list. But Soul Cycle and lemon water were, and at that point I exited to cat videos as quickly as possible.

You use eyeshadow primer.....I have questions. I know it will keep the shadow in place for a longer period of time, but does shadow primer also help the color payoff of the trickier colors (metallics, bright white, neons) by giving them a bit of a base to stick to?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The concern trolls have apparently evolved enough past their brethren to use tools to sneak out of the grays.

Maybe it is because I live in New York City(and we have a ton of aspiring models/actors/fashion folks), but pretty much every guy I’ve ever dated has either come with their own Patrick Bateman level skincare routine, or started stealing from my stash when they realize good skincare can help negate stress/lack of

I think too much lotion is a condition of living upstate. I lived up there for about a year, and when I moved back down to NYC, I had somehow accumulated 2 ottoman/end table boxes of lotion/body oil/bath oil. The cold/snow does a wicked number on your skin and hair.

I use the timeless snail ferment under eye cream from Tony Moly....its the only one I’ve tried that pumps up the baby lines, and doesn’t give me millia. However, its probably best for dry skin, since it takes a while to sink in. Plus the whole snail mucin thing is a dealbreaker for some people.

Orange is more wearable than most people think. Somewhere on the spectrum of coral to traffic cone, everyone can get in somewhere.

I laughed at this harder than I should. Well played, as that was my first thought as well.
