Just living my own life on my own terms. No time for those who try to shape me into someone I’m not, even if I do love them. Boundaries.

I did eventually find a life mate, though on my terms, not theirs.
I go straight for short-circuiting the conversation.
Unthinking and selfish for sure. After that episode, limits were put into place.
A small store in your neighborhood? Probably OK, though I wouldn’t know if it were safer. I would, however, like to ask that people shop where they live. I have family that lives in a rural area with only one small grocery store for miles around. It’s enough to take care of the locals, but what they’re experiencing is…
Some of my family members are front-line medical workers and a very good friend is an ICU nurse. Heroes in my mind. They can take their place in line in front of me.
And always a few people who either have NO sense that you’re waiting for them to move to get to something
I contemplated doing the pick-up thing and ultimately decided against it for a couple of reasons: (1) leave it for people who are compromised and truly need to distance; and (2) I don’t want someone else picking out my produce or deciding what the ‘substitute’ should be if they’re out of my preferred product. I…
I don’t like going when it’s busy, so my preferred time is very early on a Friday or Saturday morning. Anytime, now, the store is not terribly busy as more people are taking advantage of its expanded pick-up service. At least that part worked out.
I had always enjoyed going to the grocery store, especially when I’m not in a hurry. Maybe pick up some fresh Gulf Shrimp then peruse the produce and see what I want to make for dinner. I’d check for specials on non-perishables and see what new products are on offer. It’s no fun anymore. I’m not sure I’m ready for…
“Get your mize together.”
There is no such thing as an ‘irresponsible number of butters’ in the fridge! I have several unopened packages (salted, unsalted, Irish, etc.) and a few stray sticks. I don’t hoard, I just need them for different applications.
Dr. Kirby is a urologist (was, maybe? retired, I think). Let him unfix whatever in that junk of theirs that he originally fixed. Male MAGAlanders are collectively crossing their legs.
I filtered by vintage and selected “non-vintage,” which I understand to mean “blends.”
Two weeks ago, my May event was postponed to November and the new date won’t work. There was no refund option offered, only ‘transfer’ which means I had to find someone on my own to take over my tix. I checked the website regularly and yesterday -- TADA! -- there was a ‘request refund’ button, which I clicked. I have…
I take simple jarred marinara and simmer it slowly (usually the time it takes for the last proof of the pizza dough), to concentrate and thicken the sauce. Adjust seasonings as you please.
Is she the new mini-Kellyanne? Not sure I can handle two of them spouting alternate facts daily.
It’s more than that. “Remote” places may sound like a good way to ride out the physical distancing requirement, but keep in mind many of those places do not have the medical infrastructure to handle patients, should they become sick. With the unknown of asymptomatic patients, who may become ill within 14 days and may…
Reported by CNN today:
Ranch and hot sauce is a combo I sometimes use on tacos, depending on the other ingredients. Chopped chipotle peppers mixed with ranch makes a good dressing for taco salad. But I can’t see mixing salsa (much less pico) with ranch. That’s ... just no.
