I’ve been to a Ruth’s Chris just once, and was appalled that you could order “extra butter” with your steak.

Our local grocers collect seconds and trims in a big bin that is hauled away daily, and given to farms and sanctuaries for their animals. I would hope more places would be able to do this.
there won’t be an interruption to food/water and aid is not needed.
And that handful of cuffs! Are those readily available outside law enforcement? What were they for? Hostages?
Meanwhile, Jose Andres and his World Central Kitchen delivered 120 pizzas to law enforcement personnel that stayed late to protect the Capitol building. He also “turned Jaleo into WCK kitchen cooking 100s of hot stews on this cold night...plus fried egg sandwiches & fruit!” per his Twitter feed. This man amazes me…
sometimes I will buy some for my dog, who really enjoys eating it with his kibbles
He is not at all in poor health. That feeble-looking piece of scum in the wheelchair was all an act. The DA released footage of him in his cell, and he’s moving about quite spryly.
Agree, and Ghiardelli’s is my go-to as well.
I wear Bali almost exclusively, because I know they fit my shape and they’re comfortable. The ones I buy are not padded (don’t need it), and while they’re called minimizers, I don’t buy them for the “minimizing because I’m uncomfortable with my breast size” reason, they’re just comfortable for me to wear. There’s more…
The white tears are deep on this one. I’m laughing at local posts that are trying to blame deep left politicians (wut? - yeah) because these snowflakes can’t handle rebranding. It’s food. Brands come and go.
The bag I check (vs. the carry-on) is bright sapphire blue. I’ve painted all the visible screw tops with bright red nail polish. Not as obvious as large letters on the side, but I know what to look for and can spot it immediately as it comes off the conveyor.
Not federal, but in areas where populations are rural or those that do not have their own police departments, law enforcement is handled by the county Sheriff. In most (maybe all?) jurisdictions, the Sheriff is an elected position, accountable to the populace. Only speaking of my area, we have no issues with our…
Thanks for the heads-up! I’ll be sure to avoid it.
A catepillar in a salad at Bennigan’s. During a job interview. I didn’t want to be ‘that person’ in front of my new prospective boss, so I just put my fork down and said I was no longer hungry. Never ate a Bennigan’s after that, and felt a sigh of relief when they finally shut all of them down.
Why is NextDoor still around? It’s the Yelp of neighborhood social media platforms. I bailed out of my neighborhood NextDoor last year because it was just people complaining. Maybe that’s just the group I was in, but I didn’t find it helpful at all.
Agreed. My workwear staple slacks are all Worthington. I didn’t like the move to name-brand fashion, I just want well-constructed everyday wear. After that change I would occasionally go to re-stock basics, but I haven’t been back inside a JC Penney since the local store plunked down a near-enclosed Sephora mini-store…
Thank you.
Same here. I really didn’t understand the issue until I was older, then realized I have a major problem with abandonment (perceived or real). Still working through it.
I noticed the final tab was higher the last time I made a grocery run. I just chalked it up to the additional bottles of wine we’re consuming these days.
Unconventional is a word often used to describe me. I’m not going to disagree.
