We did this with our peanut-allergic child. We ‘bought’ the forbidden candies at Halloween, paid ten cents each. Win-win on all sides.

I wondered about them (a friend owns a pair and she likes the novelty), but I didn’t buy these. Thanks for articulating the why — I just didn’t give it much thought.

I read some of the comments accompanying this image. It shouldn’t surprise me, but I still have difficulty with some people’s ignorance.

I hear Fox doesn’t even want her. From the AV Club:

And Vegas. You can get to any terminal once you clear TSA.

Had to laugh at how the agents had such difficulty unfurling that tarp, though. Basic laundry skills, anyone?

I think it depends on the tribe. I have in-laws that are legit card-carrying Native American tribal members with 5/128 native blood.

Beer. Throw him in a vat of beer. Cheap beer.

This. Jane Fonda was there sitting alongside Robert Redford for the purpose of promoting their new film, “Our Souls at Night.” A list of questions and topics would have been cleared beforehand. This was absolutely a Megyn Kelly ambush. If her intent was to be a ‘softer, more friendly’ Megyn on her new show, this

Perhaps that was my mistake - asking for assistance. Sorry to have bothered you.

I should clarify - I know his dry food is nutritionally complete (passes the test with his vet). I would feel better if he ate more lean protein such as chicken or fish, as I’ve seen it benefit my other animals. He’s a big cat and I’m concerned about his health as he gets older. Thanks for the reassurance, though, if

Totally agree! One’s a sweetheart, one’s a jerk. I guess as long as the vet is fine with his heath, I shouldn’t worry about his extra girth.

Yes, I’m aware and his vet is fine with the dry food. I just see my other cat and dog benefit from supplementing dry food with wet and/or home-cooked proteins (eggs, chicken). I guess the big cat wants what he wants.

I would love to hear any tips on getting the one cat to start eating meat. He’s big (though healthy according to his vet), and I think he could trim down a bit if he would start eating lean meats.

I make scrambled eggs mixed with cooked chopped chicken for my dog as a supplement to his regular dry food. His vet agrees it’s better for him than most commercial canned food (which he doesn’t really like anyway).

I have two cats (both rescues, so I don’t really know their backgrounds). The cats are about the same age, not littermates. One ignores wet food. The other devours everything in sight and sticks his face in every human food plate he can reach. So I’m skeptical about cats ‘needing’ meat, as one flat-out refuses to eat

My mom used these, they were nails made of aluminum specifically for baking potatoes. I never liked them because they allowed too much steam to escape and the potatoes ended up dry.

They were pre-formed and frozen already into tots, just like the potato version. But the cauliflower version didn’t crisp up very well on the outside (when baked), and the inside was just mushy and tasteless.

I really wanted the cauliflower tots to be good - tots are such a throwback comfort food (especially when sauteed in butter)! But they were a huge disappointment -- not even close. Mushy AF. Horrible. I won’t try any of the other cauliflower ‘substitutes’ again. I’ll just go back to my tried-and-true florets roasted
