That's all I got to say.

Jesus Christ, fuck this guy so hard with a splintery broomstick. My husband, good man that he is, works for the US government solely because he believes in helping people. His job is to direct emergency management procedures in the case of disaster (eg Hurricane Sandy, the Boston marathon bombings, etc). Because his

I work in government at the state level and am have always kept close attention to federal politics. But in the last couple of years not even I have to stomach to follow it anymore. It just feels utterly hopeless. Corruption is completely out of control on both sides of the isle, and that's not widely known because

Good news, Mary, the baby will be an adult just in time to fight in WWII!

Ok, so I've already discussed with Mr. DancingMuppets that any potential future sons will not play football bc of concussions and brain damage and (in my mind) probable death. Now, any potential future daughters will not cheer. If you need me, I'll be off to sew full body pillow suits and look into plastic bubbles

Thanks, I'll definitely be checking out some of these! I'm actually really interested in the psychology of dying, believe it or not.

I've been reading a lot of non-fiction as it's what's in my local library's "New Books" section.
The Power of Habit - absolutely fascinating look at how habits guide all of our personal, community and corporate decisions.
Black Milk - Elif Shafak - a Turkish author talks about how her writing changed when she got

I work in a bridal salon selling bridal gowns to brides ( I know, earth shattering) and since part of selling them a dress means assisting them in changing in and out of dresses, I see women in their underwear all day long. I've worked with women of ALL AGES, ALL ETHNICITIES and ALL BODY TYPES and you know what -

Wait, I thought that "thinspiration" was not a message in keeping with this site's overall message? I'm seriously confused here.

You're not a trophy wife if you clean 15 hours a month unless it is a bank account.

Babies ruin your sleep!!!! I say it's the damn lady hormones. But yeah, I wake up multiple times a night when one of them coughs or cries for a couple seconds. Or sometimes I wake up thinking I heard them, but I look at the monitor and they're both sleeping totally still.
