FOIA THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYTHING, PEOPLE.

The ACLU has filed a FOIA as to the tax returns in order to check it against the Emoluments Clause in the Constitution. They are doing amazing work, right now, and sending them a donation is high on my list, today. It’s a selfish thing. Someone out there is protecting my rights.

This is ludicrous.. It’s also financial incentive to arrest more people during a protest, and/or to use more expensive and unnecessary means in response. In addition to, you know, violating constitutional rights and effectively threatening people against protesting.

Anyone who says this isn’t straight up fascism, is a straight up fascist themselves. Our right to peacefully assemble, which means anything short of actually smashing shit up, is guaranteed by our 1st amendment constitutional rights. I don’t really give a shit about the wall either. You know who actually gives a shit? The ranchers who border the rio grande. You can’t build the wall on Mexico’s side of the rio grande, so you have to build it on our side and cut off the rancher’s access to the river. Should be very interesting...

I’m much more concerned about the sanctuary cities than the wall. Yes, the wall is a stupid waste of money and rude, but I don’t see it doing serious damage to the country (I might not know enough about the issue, though).
