Toyota goes to the all you can eat sushi place and orders a steak.
When I was in the Genesis sedan at the auto show I was really surprised with how nice it was, but you could definitely tell where they were saving the money.
The dash and console were great, but the steering wheel and door panels felt super cheap.
I’m sure it have all the luxury that most people would actually want,…
And then you go to sell the Chev...
That looks pretty nice!
Project Swiss Cheese has proven that with a little bit of preventative maintenance, a cheap Craigslist Jeep can conquer the world.
I disagree.
How do they differ from the current sport bike transmissions? Clutch lever removal?
I don’t really see how a DCT would be significantly different than current set-ups. You don’t need to clutch on upshifts and with slipper clutches your downshifts don’t need to be super perfect either.
I’m just hoping that the infrastructure will be able to outpace the proliferation and demand generated by EVs. In dense areas it should be easy enough, but in rural areas I have my doubts.
Yeah, I have a few cars so it could work, but buying a 50K car as a city runabout doesn’t really make sense to me. Someday hopefully.
Yeah, I think I just want it to be more practical sooner so I can at least consider a Tesla as an option.
I meant that the charging for all the EVs on road trips is going have to happen somewhere. The entire infrastructure of certain areas may have to change to support EVs. magus-21 did mention that adoption will be slow, but I’m hoping that the infrastructure gets ahead of it.
Remember that the range drops a fair bit travelling at the speed limit of the QE2, and also in cold weather.
Yeah, it’s something all manufacturers do. And I hate it.
When they catch on there will be vastly more EVs out there, which will surely have a higher demand on electricity infrastructure. Having a business plunk down one or two works now because they’re used infrequently, but I can’t see it being ‘the solution.’
A nearby powerline capable of handling the current is the key…
Yet they still charge destination fees.
Ignorant shit-talkers out there will howl all day about how bad all of that is
I’m sure you get this every time you do one of these, but...
The appeal of GT-Rs and Skylines really dropped once they were importable into Canada and people got their hands on them. They’re temperamental and unreliable.
No one owns a Skyline, they own a project Skyline, because it’s never running for more than a weekend.
There are a few nice GT-Rs but it’s a very small…
