One of those “mail it in” fridays?

I seem to remember some small town dirt track claimer cars up here not requiring a cage at all. The rollover protection was two 6" steel pipes behind either seat. Top and bottom of pipe had plates welded on, then bolted to a plate on the outside of the car.

Is that because they are shady?

Or just that they don’t deal exclusively in concourse-style number matched builds?

I can’t find it on their website, but what kind of tires does it come with?
I’m assuming the range is negatively impacted by switching them out to say a performance tire, or even a winter tire?

Based on their website the S wouldn’t get me to my parent’s house, even with a S/C pit stop.

I think subframe tearing is a larger issue than the SMG though.

How are they for snow drifting? It’s one of my main concerns with the AWD Golfs. Well, that and the price.
Really used to Subarus and being able to plant the throttle and oversteer around.
