One of those “mail it in” fridays?
One of those “mail it in” fridays?
I seem to remember some small town dirt track claimer cars up here not requiring a cage at all. The rollover protection was two 6" steel pipes behind either seat. Top and bottom of pipe had plates welded on, then bolted to a plate on the outside of the car.
You can kind of see it in this ad:
gif of the year.
Is that because they are shady?
Or just that they don’t deal exclusively in concourse-style number matched builds?

Obviously this guy is way more dangerous than Baldwin, and Baldwin had the streets actually shut down, but it’s not like he wasn’t one error away from causing some serious damage. As you said
That’s the second VW squareback reference of the week. Sounds like someone is looking for a project car!
Can you do a track day/evening and get home on one charge?
Yeah I know, but that’s less fun that 500 hp.
They called it the LC500 and it doesn’t have 500 hp?
booooo
I can’t find it on their website, but what kind of tires does it come with?
I’m assuming the range is negatively impacted by switching them out to say a performance tire, or even a winter tire?
Based on their website the S wouldn’t get me to my parent’s house, even with a S/C pit stop.
This was a good article, even though I knew all the information, and don’t mind the SMG personally.
I think subframe tearing is a larger issue than the SMG though.
Other than getting around the rule that prevents it, how would this system be better than an electronic one?
It’s a classic bait and switch. It’ll be a first gen Honda Insight.
It’ll have dead batteries and he’ll need to undertake some lessons in actually working on a car so he can do a K-series swap :D
A place called Gilbert Plains, it looks way less creepy during the day at least.
Thanks! I don’t know why it didn’t notify me about your response until today, but I appreciate it regardless.
It’s cool, but the ISF is pretty much the same price now.
Were the drivers of the other cars okay?
How are they for snow drifting? It’s one of my main concerns with the AWD Golfs. Well, that and the price.
Really used to Subarus and being able to plant the throttle and oversteer around.
