I love Great Danes, but their shorter lifespan makes me sad. We just put our Great Dane/German Sheppard mix down in May at the ripe old age of 13. He was a really good boy and very protective of our twin daughters and he only started liking our newer dog and let him cuddle in the last few months.

Hey, I have a weirdly big chihuaha mix too! This is Franklin, who is a quarter chihuahua, a quarter chow chow, a drop of basenji, and small amounts of a few other breeds. 10 months, 27 lbs, weirdly tall. Hope he is done growing!
