Yep, Mia was be perfect as Annie. I agree. I thought Johanna Mason (from a woodcutting district, correct me if I'm wrong) might be a bit more physically imposing.

Yeah, you might end up having to hold yourself back teaching history. You would point out something important, like Civil War or WWII, and Wahlberg would be all up your business like, 'If I had been [place] [event] wouldn't have gone down like that."

Oh, I love you. Because you love Jay Smooth. Hearted.

Now playing

Not to trvialise the Gwenyth Paltrow thing at all, but this is a really good reply to anyone who invokes that bomb. (You can skip past the preamble to 2.25 for the jazzy good stuff).

The most effective - in terms of tantrum prevention and the like - type of parenting technique is authoritative. Which is gentle but firm (and carries the weight of responsibility for the decisions made). This is compatible with AP or other kid-wrangling parents styles.

I actually think the tie/shirt combo is most disturbing in that shot.

God bless you all!

I already want a meme that makes these smutty.

OK, peeps - thanks muchly for the updates. I will stalk these shows/movies and reminisce. As a side note, nostalgia is a good description for lamenting the decline of a heartthrob. Nostos = a place of home; algia = a pain or ache. Sad, but true.

I shall have to look out for that, if only to satisfy 90s me. I wondered how he would age. Sometimes it goes well (hello Chris from Northern Exposure). But sometimes Father Time is a little too cruel (hello Ed from Northern Exposure).

Nominating new teen heartthrob-style heartthrob: Josh Hutcherson? Sure, he's creepily young. But, seems like a nice enough kid for those similar in age.

I'm INTJ and I've felt lonely. Mainly in the company of other people, which is probably unusual for some. My husband is INFP. Basically, we just read together. Of course, now that we have a son, we read a lot of Spot and Winnie the Pooh together. But, hey, works for us.

Sheesh, really? Ours was out about a month ago.

Yeah, but maybe they're content with that :)

I can never get enough The Wire references. Carry on.

Spelling fail.

That is an unbelievably adorable photo.

Because I was just thinking, 'Isn't that the breed that occasionally attacks babies and toddler?'
