You're a tastemaker, MissNThrope. The rest of us can only hope to catch up.

Mittens as Bond villain... suddenly everything makes sense! Erin, you're a genius.

Your words to Jenna's ears, s'il vous plaît.

I love you and wish to subscribe to your newsletter. That gif is making me giddy.

See? Thursdays will never lead you astray. I just finished up my Master's this spring: I wish you every good luck in the world. You're going to dazzle them!

I'm not sure about least favourite, but I've been a fan of Thursdays since I was little. I think it's because it holds a sort of promise; the anticipation of good things to come (I often prefer the eves of things, over the things themselves, for the same reason). It also just sounds right, and sort of golden: Thursda

Aw, "Strawbaby" Shortcake! She's going to look adorable as Princess Bubblegum, and doubtless she'll love it either way! Are you going trick-or-treating, or to a party?

My thoughts exactly; I hope to *insert deity here* that she's right. I would hate for this to become a "Dewey Defeats Truman"-type quote.

They can say, without hyperbole, that they drove someone from their home. Wow. I hope you and your family didn't have to put up with those repulsive people for very long.

Any Jezzies from in/around Princeton, NJ who might be able to recommend a place to stay on the cheap? I'm hoping to do a research jaunt at the end of November for about a week, but I feel like it's coming too fast for me to plan properly.

That looks like my dream home, red door and all. I hope you'll be very happy there!

Don't apologize! I'm picturing you handing over the money with gritted teeth: "Here's your book money" (read: blood money). A brand new branch just opened near my house, so I have approximately one billion books (plus two series of Mad Men) on hold. You should go!

Ahahaha, no way! Huskies are the best. Feel better soon, and know that Jezzies are always here for you! ((hugs))

Gah, I've been putting off getting really into DFW because I'm afraid of reaching the end of his works, knowing there'll never be any more, ever. But you'd recommend Broom of the System as a first foray into his fiction?

I'm so sorry; that sounds like a lot to cope with a lot all at once. There used to be a poster 'round here named @Lymed who used to talk about having the disease quite a bit; I wish she was still here so you could chat!

I'm afraid the only possible answers are [ ] Yes and [ ] Yes, Immediately. Select one.

I was just thinking "Don't Fuck Near a Parrot, and Other Advice My Parents Failed to Give Me" would make a good memoir.

That feeling, whereupon you remember the book title that has been eluding you for three days: I have it, and it feels so good. To the library!

That. Is. Amazing. I would be freaking out loudly!

Aaaaand hearted.
