I feel like anybody who pays for a thing should be able to do whatever they want to that thing...

I also feel that any company who honors warranties/support for free has the right to force specific usage - I.e. terms of warranty, etc.

Mine was 39,770

There’s so much to be had and lost with Nostalgia.

I like a touchscreen for certain things... Nav, adjusting the “occasionally touched” stuff in a settings menu, bluetooth config, etc.

I just prefer watching IndyCar - it’s more fun as a spectator. Both are ridiculously fast paced racing cars, it’s not like we’re slicing the difference between a touring car and a F1 car.

Honestly, it isn’t that ambitious but my forever car is my Scion FRS. It was my only car for 5yrs - it proved to be fun every single day, reliable as hell, good enough for the weekly grocery run or mild home depot errand and also introduced me to everything I now love about driving.

Though I really don’t like playing sports games much, my favorite VMW function was playing NFL blitz, and you used the screen to select your play on offense/defense so the guy on the other half of the couch couldn’t see it in advance.

I 100% agree. Top speed claims are pointless unless you’re renting air strips to prove it.

Man, all those games are so awesome. Wooly world was fantastic, and this looks like a blend of that and the more recent paper mario game.

Sure - I think the main thing is that when people drop 50k on a car, they kind of expect smooth sailing for 4-6yrs easily. Whether it’s age or money (like whenever somebody buys a fully depreciated sports car - i.e. a 16yr old ANYTHING, you’re not expecting it to behave as new).

I saw a documentary that was talking about the development of the supra. I.E. How much did each company do...

Well, so far so good - I just had to get my emissions test done (I live outside of Chicago) and it didn’t come up. Next test is 2yrs from now, we’ll see I guess.

A: I am NOT taking my 2013 FRS in for recall work. I IMMEDIATELY thought of the high probability of the clueless toyota service network (as it pertains to this subaru-based car), and knew they’d be more likely to screw it up than I would be to have engine failure (i’ve got 80k miles of dd/autoX/tracking and so far so

My GF in high school had a convertible one of these. Like a 93 or something - this was in 1996-8-ish...

It was SOOOO heavy and not quick at all, but it was a pretty cool car to cruise around in.

I 100% agree.
Last summer I was looking for a relatively inexpensive (sub-9000) car that would be my DD (leaving my progressively more track-focused FRS at home during the commute). My criteria/wish list was a bit weird.

I LOVE this song, and that’s one of my all time favorite albums. I still spin it on the reg. Been listening to it since it came out ( I was a teenager and this was one of the soundtracks of my youth).

REALLY cool, but not that price. If we had gotten this car in the U.S. this would be a 4000 car in this condition so paying a LOT more is silly just because it’s rare (and really cool).

I (mostly) dig it.

BUT,

NICE! I LOOOOOVED the first one, kind of never really got into the 2nd one and skipped the third ( I generally prefer sim-games like Project C.A.R.S., etc) but it’s been a long time since I just dicked around in supercars and jumped them on a golf course. 30 bucks is the price i’m in for, and I heard this one is great.
