Truth - rarely listen to that track.

I remember this album coming out when I was a kid in the 80s. It was outstanding then, and STILL sounds amazing. At the time I never would’ve thought KICK would age so well, but it’s been 30yrs and I still spin it on the reg.

Right - I highly doubt anybody who has the cash for the next gen one is cross shopping with a 60k stingray on the lot now. Anybody waiting to see about the next one thinking it’ll be a minor upsell over the current car is SORELY mistaken.

The STINGRAY has JUMPED the SHARK.. EH? EH? lol.

short answer : I wouldn’t. Illinois IS a front-plate state but I haven’t run one on any of my cars in the 22yrs i’ve been on the road and while I have gotten a few warnings, i’ve never actually gotten a citation for it.

Long Answer: I’d end up with something that mounted to the factory tow hook plug, as some others

I remember playing the first Resident Evil in a dark basement when I was young. Not THAT young, but I hadn’t ever played a “scary” game before and the dogs jumping through the window in the L-shaped hallway made me jump a foot.

See, I know that PLENTY have had great experiences with their BMWs... SO I won’t ever assume that just because my only BMW was a bit of a lemon that all are...

HOWEVER, my time with the brand stick. When we started having issues with misfiring (literally day one of owning the car), it was under warranty. They would

I owned one for about 4yrs (my wife’s car, not mine). Everything was kept up and well-maintained.

It had more issues in those 4yrs (mileage range 20k-80k) than ALL THE OTHER (13) cars we have owned over the years combined.

Between that and the overall ownership experience (dealing with dealers during and just after

I’ve owned a few first M.Y. Cars - I have definitely seen a few things that got fixed in subsequent model years that I had issues with, but nothing catastrophic and absolutely nothing i’d say I regretted having that car vs waiting a year or two for (the otherwise identical) car just hoping a few kinks were worked out.

The first game is STILL among my favorite “just screw around” sandbox games. Co-op tomfoolery with a superpowered buddy? Yes please. I tried the 2nd one but felt simultaneously too familiar and also worse by the additions they made.

I love these things. Great read.

I just saw the car in person for the first time last weekend at the Chicago Auto Show. I hadn’t gotten within 20ft of it before I saw the seam on the lower part of the door that I had never noticed in photos prior to that - and immediately groaned at this garnish area on the car. Reminded me of a fake vent of a 05

I had the Churros CTC last week, and will TOTALLY agree that it’s:

Love her, love that song. Str8 Jam!

I knew it was coming out, and really didn’t care. And then one just pulled out into traffic and i was following right behind it for a couple of miles - and a lane switch here and there got me a good look at all angles. I was shocked.

I want to hate things like this so badly, but I saw one on the road recently and it looks the business. To read that it drives pretty well too?

First, i’m in the camp that thinks this is totally unnecessary.

But to answer the O.P. question -

I take a pretty epic motorcycle tour (2500-4000 miles) once a year with a few friends. We’ve been doing it almost every year for the past 12 or so.

I’ve been nearly everywhere in the country on a bike at this point - the best trip I ever took was from Chicago - (near) Portland - San Fransisco in a week. 3650 miles.

I am glad this is pretty good. I largely prefer it to the Stinger (Genesis is better looking, I prefer the slightly smaller size, interior, manual) BUT, I really wish they’d have saved the hatch of the stinger... That is a huge bonus that this genesis doesn’t have.

SO, I actually prefer the film’s ending. The squid monster thing is fine... But i always thought that the seemingly united public would just assume that Dr Manhattan would fix it - which would keep the whole unity/peace treaty from really sinking in.

But unified against HIM? That seems more plausible to me.
