So I appreciate the Kotaku is questioning these situations, but it doesn’t help your case when immediately following the article there are “recommended” examples of Kotaku openly glorifying these “pop offs”. Like maybe we stop celebrating these?

For example, the prejudiced assumption that they’re whiny assholes who will sexually harass a female influencer fully expecting that her company will side with the harasser. Oh, wait....

The person you want to “get fucked” is right, for one simple reason:  The preconceptions, et. al. about male gamers are true.

You’re pretending like the two genders already exist on a level playing field. In a patriarchal society, that just isn’t true.

That’s just in the video games. This is real life. Sonic can barely run without the special effects they add in his games. Everyone knows this.

Celeste. You win if you embrace the idea of throwing your corpse at the level until you’ve earned the rhythm of it. Actually, i’d put it almost closer to a rhythm game than anything else - you’re memorizing a sequence. Especially the run and gun levels. Super fun.
