Except the part at the end where the editor definitively (and accurately) claims that Sega kids knew they got the better version. ;-)

That people are more interested in nitpicking a click-baity title than they are in acknowledging the hard work and insanity that went into these photos is so disappointing.

Switch is my favorite console of all time, but its starting to have an negative effect on multi-platform games. Sonic Frontiers, for example, runs surprisingly well on the last gen console, but as a result the PS/Xbox versions aren’t as visually impressive as they could have been.

Good point, but by clout chasers “like this” I meant douchebags who pay their bills by pissing people off and drumming up controversy without having anything worth saying.

That he thought this was even a joke worth making speaks volumes. Everyone please stop giving clout chasers like this the clicks they crave.

I’m a Dreamcast stan too, but defending it with Wii U comparisons helps no one :-P

FITNESS BOXING OF THE NORTH STAR IS FR MY MOST ANTICIPATED TITLE FROM THIS DIRECT.

Nintendo should make the “Curse of the Vampire” Ultimate Alliance DLC free for a week to celebrate. Just having a “It’s Morbin’ Time” announcement in the Switch newsfeed would get them so much good press.

Might have been speculation, but I am sure I remember hearing that Sega games were in the works as Stadia exclusives (or at lease timed exclusives). Here’s mention of the IP being developed about a year ago...

Does Kotaku publishing articles that discourage people from doing business with their own sponsors make them heroes or hypocrites? Genuinely asking.

Does the NFT bubble bursting mean that Kotaku is going to stop displaying banner ads for Funge NFTs? Because I’ll be honest: I’m going to miss the irony.

Surprised you didn’t mention that a Jet Grind game was originally announced for the Stadia. This must be a re-purposing of whatever work was done there. Also, imagining a dystopian future simulator selling NFTs is so on the nose it’s almost acceptable... ALMOST.

Wish more devs were so player-focused. The only problem is that their games get a rep for being too easy...

Dang, they need to advertise Halo Events on the Xbox home screen. Just as the article implies, I’ve been cold on the game since maxing out the battle pass, but I damn near missed this entire event!

Dr. Strange was my only foray into 4DX. When he gets teleported to the Himalayas, I couldn’t hear a single line of dialog over the howling fans simulating a frigid mountain gale. Gotta give them credit for not half-assing the effects.

Is this actually a thing? Some one cite a source on this, please.

That walk animation reminds me of Catwoman from Injustice. She goes from a cat-like battle stance to a sashay at the touch of a button. :-P

Personally I feel like the new map was a definite upgrade from Verdansk, but it’s just hard to get excited about playing when Halo feels so new and inviting (despite the MANY problems that game has as well)

Regarding the mid-game slump: many strongly suspect that Halo has major mid-match balancing that gives losing teams a significant boosts in the final 30 seconds of a match. This is evident in the tendency for teams to drastically “catch up” and the spike in lag that occurs.

Can attest to Risk of Rain 2 being pretty rad. It’s like a mix between Diablo, EDF, and Monster Hunter. Gonna try and convince my brothers to pick it up.
