I really like Chris’ YouTube segments too, the stuff that isn’t on the show. I watched the one with him racing a Bentley at the Spa 24, great little film.
I say no, because a vehicle is something that can go wherever and on it’s own. An elevator only goes in one place (up and down) and has to be powered by external source (usually).
The lid never properly closed on mine!
The FIA would have DQ’d him from the championship, just like they did to Schumacher back in the day; and he knows that. I’ve heard that excuse several times, and it’s absolute nonsense. There’s no way he was going to punt Rosberg off.
He was very rusty yesterday, and had 2 bad holes coming in that cost him 4 shots. It happens.
I don’t think Verstappen will leave RB. They’re more than likely going to have a great car under the new rules, thanks to Adrian Newey’s aero prowess. I’d love nothing more than a knockdown drag-out fight between Hamilton’s Merc and Verstappens RB. It’d be a battle for the ages, and you might finally see all that…
He wore some like that in the Africa special, if I recall correctly.
I’ve had some issues with the stream quality. Probably high loads on their servers.
Spot on. It’s not a Emmy award for best drama winning type of show. It’s fun, it’s campy, it’s not meant to be taken seriously? And how did they not understand the point of the Italian trip? The guys literally said it was to mimic the Grand Tours of Italy that British people used to go on to get cultured, and which…
Really? The only time I’ve ever bothered to point out something (Weekend Motorsports round-up should be published Friday afternoons), it was met with a “this is the way we do it, get up earlier, and check the non-front pages if you want to see it” response. Doesn’t really vibe well with wanting to change.
At best this year they were on par, Ham had more wins and more poles, despite the quali issues. His bad starts were his undoing, and the engine failure in Malaysia was the final nail in the coffin. Props to Nico for putting himself in a place to take advantage though.
I’d like Verstappen to stay with RB. I think his driving style fits their design theory better. I’d love a Hamilton v. Verstappen battle Royale next year!
They’ll promote Werhlein from Manor. It’s been rumored several times over the year that they might replace Ham at the end of his contract with him anyway.
I like Hammy, but that’s hilarious! McMike FTW!
That’s what I got out of it. Terrible wheel company owner guy is obviously a colossal piece of shit, but dudes shouldn’t be flirting with another dudes gf. Them’s the rules. And there’s an absolute line between just being friendly, and flirting.
They should go to a more balanced schedule to make things even for the teams. You always have really tough and really easy divisions. This rewards teams in the weak ones.
That’s not her fault, it’s the fault of the car overheating...or if you actually read his article at Autotrader, he said the radiator failed. Apparently something not uncommon on that year Viper.
It depends on the car for me. With as much torque as the Viper has, yeah, just roll off the clutch. Other cars, I’ll turn off the radio, and tell them to give it just enough gas so they can hear it, then slowly let off the clutch.
Can’t really think of any other racetracks that have the blue Armco barriers like that.
