Bad part about it though, is if the MW folks get a pay increase, you won’t, and because of the inflation their pay increase will cause, your current wage will be effectively lowered.

At the end of the day, their buying power will eventually be exactly the same, if not worse due to economics and inflation. You can’t just artificially put money into the economy (which you’re doing by increasing MW) - it eventually will even out as products increase in price to compensate. If you’re making $9 now,…
Meh, if it was a kit 918, then fine, use “Porsh”, but since it’s a real one, use the real name.
I’d like to see a Mini vs Fiat 500 in person. I could probably wear them as shoes!
Client at a place I used to work would drive a RHD Classic Mini. So frickin’ cool!
That’s the most genius thing that’s ever been posted to Jalopnik! Figures it’d take a elite combination of Superman and Jesus to come up with such a superb idea!
They need to work on that. People are already doing without cable/satellite at an increased pace, if the video quality can’t keep up, and as internet options increase, the cable companies are going to lose out big-time. That being said, they’ll probably start charging an arm and a leg for decent internet speeds to…
Most places don’t even use full 1080HD, it’s 720 at best
That pass was a little ballsy, but mostly due to the Merc’s hp & DRS advantage.
How do you figure that? His last two seasons with McLaren he had 7 wins, 8 poles, 13 podiums, and finished 5th and 4th in the championship. That’s more in 2 years than some drivers have in their career. Felipe Massa just finished a great career, started in 2002, he’s got 11 wins, 11 poles, 41 podiums over 14 F1…
A. because he probably couldn’t, and
Yep, lots of farm kids are driving tractors (or were, tractors are much more expensive and technical now) before they were double digits. Dad and his sisters and brothers had little go-kart type things, couple old mail carts and things to drive around on as toys.
The RB guys and Ferrari guys racing each other happens maybe once a season, Ham and Ros seem to go at it several times a year, thus the increased number of conflicts. As far as complaining, you’re seeing what you want to see. Ham has certainly complained a few times, but he’s overwhelmingly been in support of the team…
No way. The precedent has been set, they’ve never fired anyone for disobeying team orders, so if they fired Hamilton for it this time, it would be torn apart by a competent lawyer. Had they fired anyone for it, then they’d have a leg to stand on.
Mostly I might agree with you, but the team portion of the championship has long been settled, so there’s nothing at stake there. Early on in the season? Absolutely follow team orders.
My dad drove in HS, got his regular license one day, and was driving a school bus route the next day. And in rural areas, it’s not exactly common case that these kids hasn’t been driving in some form or fashion for years.
It’s not a crutch, it was the only chance he had. Why not take it? It’d be different if he hit Nico or something, but this was pure strategy, and it didn’t work.
His bad starts are certainly his undoing this year, and I’ll say even trumped the Malaysia engine failure for costing him the championship. But he’s won every single year he’s raced, he can win with less than stellar equipment (yes, that McLaren was bad, not 2015 bad, but certainly not race winning).
It’s hardly the first time team orders haven’t been followed. And there’s not a lawyer worth his salt that couldn’t win a wrongful termination suit based on this result.
He lost yesterday and had nothing but positive things to say about the team and Nico. He doesn’t complain nearly as much as he’s made out to.
