To be fair, Smith wasn't the first to re-imagine Stanley's monster as a demonic beast.

I had a fairly different experience with Clerks 2 because I identified with the characters quite a bit in terms of where they were in their lives. I was a few years out of college, still working retail, and trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. A lot of it really struck a nerve with me, and I ended up…
Calling her either homely or a lead is quite a stretch (as is calling Tusk "pretty good").
I'd sooner watch ten more Kevin Smith horror movies than another Ti West film. Even at their most self-indulgently verbose, Smith's films still have better pacing than almost anything West has done since House of the Devil.
I remember back in '99 thinking it was one of the best movies that year, and it was an incredibly good year for film.
There are a lot of great scenes in this movie. I was a huge fan of the one where Cap takes down the S.H.I.E.L.D. fighter jet at the end of his escape from the Triskelion, myself. Whoda thought the directors of Welcome to Collinwood and several episodes of Arrested Development and Community would have that in them?
I'm happy someone else made the BioShock connection with Snowpiercer. After seeing it, I made the comment that it was probably the closest to a BioShock movie we'll ever get.
Strike Back is amazing. I will watch this.
As much as I loved the show, I do have to agree that, to me, it felt more like six episodes of plot stretched into eight. I hope season two picks up the pace considerably.
While I enjoyed Live Another Day, I do agree that it was pretty much just another season of the show. I was hoping the change in locale and shortened episode order would be the shot in the arm to really shake things up. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
Have sexual intercourse with it?
"Tim Burton, he's got his own place! It's a little bitty place!"
What Serial has in common with In Cold Blood is how non-sensationalized it is. There are two things that really struck me about In Cold Blood when I read it. First was how, even though it didn't shy away from sharing the grisly details, it didn't linger on them in a prurient manner the way a lot of true crime accounts…
I rather like the modern-day Sherlock, but Granada's Sherlock Holmes series was easily the best adaptation of the character. They faithfully adapted Doyle's stories, and the writing, acting, and production value were all top-notch! It's a shame Brett died before they could adapt the entire canon.
They're not bad, but they're not really Sherlock Holmes. Victorian-era James Bond is a better description.
But didn't she really look like a lizard who was just wearing a Morena Baccarin mask?
Not the Sleepy Hollow that people know, or remember.
I assume they'll just throw a bunch of money at Cosby. Money can solve a lot of problems. Just ask Cosby.
Yep, I remember reading the Premiere article "Arnold the Barbarian" that talked about his serial groping in detail.
"Take the red pill like in The Matrix! The Matrix is a good movie!"
