I'll second that recommendation for Rimworld. Very cool game. If you found it that addicting, don't go near Factorio unless you know a good divorce lawyer.

As a recovering Eve addict, that's a pretty spot on assessment. No Man's Sky definitely doesn't compare to alliance warfare, but it's relaxing and engaging.

I'm in the same boat. I'm interested in any game that isn't Reskinned Shoot a Dude in the Face 2017 and NMS scratches a lot of gaming itches for me.

Or maybe the ambition of Star Citizen without the time and budget. I'm enjoying it, but it feels very broad but not deep.
