My 87 Thunderbird had the same digital odometer and made it to just under 199,000. The 1 hundredths is fixed in place. After many years of 5 digit odometers they went to 6. They must have finally figured out that people drive cars over 100k.
Part of me wished she removed one of her prosthetic legs and walloped him with it. Same goes when she called out cadet bone spurs a few weeks ago.
Hopefully and I hate to say this, there are no plans for a Roof family reality show.
Trump Jr. will have to find a new pen pal spouse when he’s in Leavenworth.
Since when has Farrakhan ever been a member of the “left”? When you listen to those Saviours day speeches or take a gander at the Final Call he sounds not far removed from the likes of a Pence, Tony Perkins and James Dobson. It’s a refrain of; Woman should stay at home and forgo a career. Discipline your spouse, gays…
My 95 Ford Thunderbird has the same color cloth interior. Ford referred to the color as Firethorne. I happen to like it and it’s worn well over the years.
Always a fan of the Manta. I always wished Buick imported it here to continue the sport coupe that was sold here to 1975.
If he really is pro death penalty for drug dealers can he include Ollie North and the U.S. supported Nicaraguan Contras?
Interesting factoid. GM actually used some Lancia Beta test mules when they were designing the X-car. Though the Beta was pretty bad, if only they had the sense to also design a multivalve engine like the Fiat Lampredi 1.8/2.0.
Olds brought back the Starfire name for the 75-80 Monza cousin. It was originally used on its sporty full sized coupe until 1966.
Thurmond was a Democrat until 1964 however when he ran for president in 1948 he ran as the candidate of the Dixiecrat party. One of his major beefs that prompted his candidacy was Trumans executive order integrating the armed forces.
JFK airport had lockers until the late 70's not long after a bombing where the bomb was planted in a locker. A few people were killed and the crime was never solved. During that time groups as disparate as the Weather Underground, Croatian separatists, Puerto Rican nationalists and the SLA were involved in numerous…
It has a Richard Linklatter “Slacker” vibe to it. I have a soft spot for the Olds Firenza (Monza). Very modern looking for the era with nicely integrated bumpers.
As a kid in the 60's and 70's I would go to Florida to visit relatives and found it fairly enjoyable. Now I only do just one visit a year. That was during the early Disney and condo development era. In recent years I would visit and it seemed Truman show dull.
I have a thing for the 98-04 C70 coupe and convertible. I see plenty of them very reasonably priced. Reliability wise they’re on par with the 850/V70 which is ok.
Mitsubishi Lancer. The final 2017 models must be floating around for under $17k. I’m sure there are some MY 15-16 models around for $10k. Many have AWD and there is the attractive and functional Sportback with the Ralliart package.
He’s more like a later day David Broder, conventional wisdom just with more “hipness”
So the infamous pine tar incident was only about better grip on the bat?
