It goes further. I actually stopped putting chrome door handles on mine and my father’s AMCs years ago. These fit perfectly.
Because AMC. They were always fighting to stay alive due to lack of financial resources. All credit to Dick Teague, that man could work miracles with practically zero budget.
My 1955 Mercury monterey 4 door lacks power steering. Makes me sweat bullets if I have to parallel park it.

If it can be retrofitted to spit out Juul pods and mounted in a WRX, I see a huge opportunity.
Wow, you found it!
When you said “matador”, I hadn’t noticed the actual matador standing next to the Toronado (what can I say? My eyes go straight to the car), so I thought you were refering to these:
My first thought when I hear Dodge Dart, though I’m biased because that’s mine. I’m not old enough to have been around when they were, but I’ve always liked them and thought they were underappreciated in the Mopar market. The B and E bodies tend to get most of the limelight.
I like it, but again who in their right mind thinks modern wheels on classics is a good thing? Anytime I find myself watching Mecums on TV the most common thought I have (besides when will my takeaway order be ready so I can leave) is “Nice car, but its a shame about those wheels.”
My dad drives a C43 AMG. He’s not in finance or tech.
Yes. Society wife who was afraid the lower trim levels weren’t expensive enough.
Why, just dear lord why????
That’s weird, I wouldnt expect them to be so thin on the ground. I was searching new manual cars under $30k this past spring, and several Mustang GTs popped up. It was actually easier to find one in that price range than it was a manual transmission Toyota 86. Talk about tempting...

The Last Ride of the Straight Sixes would make a good band name (or a classic Western).
But the Suzuki Waku Spo hasn’t got the lower end market to itself; it competes directly with the ever-hoonerific Toyota S-FR.
Tiny notchback coupe? heavy breathing intensifies.....
With Fiat 500 planned for retirement and Minis no longer being Mini, maybe Suzuki could actually put together a business case to sell some of these in the US?
itsa BMW?
