Back in the late 80's I looked at grey 78 Scirocco like this one. It was a nice driver but the fear of those lights coming on at once made me go for a early Prelude.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the Datsun 1600/2000. It’s one of those “what car did you regret not purchasing” Back in the mid 80's a neighbor of mine had a decent one in grey with some rot in the rockers but it was solid and running with a hardtop and a box of spares for $375. I kick myself to this day.
That’s the 75-76 Cadillac Fleetwood Tailsman. It had plush individual seats separated by a large console. The Talisman was the Maybach of Fleetwood’s. I think it was the priciest Cadillac those years short of a Eldorado convertible.
All is not well in Lake groper be gone.
I can relate to the 6 cylinder Mustang story and occasional put downs.
Not only the lack of drinking water but the Halliburton poorly constructed pop up bases. There were several incidents of soldiers getting electrocuted in them. To paraphrase Rumsfeld “You go to war with the war profiteers you have”. If only Dick Cheney’s ticker was as poorly built.
I used to read him every week in the Village Voice until they dropped him.
I’m waiting for the Dan Savage column. “Dear Dan I’m an embattled Republican governor of a reddish state and have a penchant for bondage with a woman other than my wife. I have also threatened to blackmail her. How do I square this with my conservative family values agenda?”
Agent Orange in Vietnam and Liquid Tire Chain here in the states. From your friends at Dow.
Me too. There are plenty of reasonably priced ones as well as decent 9-3's.
Scott Pruitt must really enjoy getting spanked with a copy of Popular Science.
Were the letters postmarked Tehran?
I don’t even know why this product exists. Not every nail

Is it that difficult to pour liquid into the bottle cap than into the machine? Or the powder out of the box?
Some of these cases remind me of the classic SNL skit where Dan Aykroyd plays the unscrupulous toy salesman selling products like “Johnny…
The 70's and 80's were peak years for serial killers. The profile was more than likely a middle aged white male. For some reason when you saw a mugshot they were wearing a plaid or checked shirt.
More like Slovenian rent a wife.
I once saw him at of all places the NYC Vietnam Veterans Memorial back in 2000. The man is 6'1" maybe 6'2" tops.
The Court TV documentary from 15 or so years ago gets into some of this. It theorized that Williams might have been responsible for a couple of murders but the guy might not have been sharp enough to go on a killing spree of this magnitude and without getting caught after the first few murders.
This LSC is a major NP. The sport seats, analog gauges and 5.0 HO make this one of the best Fox body Fords.
I’ve been looking at C70's the past week. There are a couple of well maintained 2000-02 coupe versions for sale at quite reasonable prices. The one concern is reliability.
