One has to wonder if it is intentional due to low margins and to state some air of exclusivity.

Did you get the upgraded diffs on your core model? What kind of pace would you expect them to make a difference since the car already has AWD?

To learn how to ride your 600lbs American MegaGlide let’s start you off on a 250lbs Chinese bike that we styled to look like what we could offer.

Don’t forget some of the highest insurance premiums for its and worst fuel economy in its class. Also the fact that most people assume you vape…

Subaru is a small company but they have an avid fan base that embrace the outdoorsy image Subaru projects in its commercials. Yet they seem to be slow to pivot to where the rest of the industry is going. With all the emphasis on EVs it can be hard for a small company to compete, but they already had access to Toyotas

I think it’s horribly short sighted for any manufacture to be introducing such a normal vehicle without a hybrid model at launch. If this was a small sub-compact meant to be the cheapest transport possible (spark/mirage) or a sports car or a truck, I can see them having a reason to not include a hybrid. I expect the

That’s like the city mileage my wife’s Odyssey gets and 3-4 better than the overall average on my 2006 Ridgeline. I’d be wondering if something was wrong if my compact car got mpg similar to a minivan pushing another 500-700lbs and 100+ HP.

That feels a bit young for the Cadillac target demo.

Feels a bit like what Vulture capital did to Toys R Us and Sears. Spin them off with a load of debt and force them to pay you income in the form of repaying that debt.

Well considering they penned the agreement in 2019 I would bet that they presented a well intentioned plan to Amazon that they could deliver in the timeline mentioned (by 2030). I wonder if their issue was that they hoped Amazon  would up its orders if Rivian had the extra capacity, say from consumer sales not going

Can you expand on that a little? I highly doubt Mazda sees much profit from the Miata, due to its price point and volume. It feels like more of a pet project than an actual core model for Mazda USA, without Fiat contributing some cash I doubt Mazda would have even green lighted this generation.

Would be fun to see this list with manufactures who have a similar ATP to Tesla or to see this list excluding the vehicles that fall below the ATP of Tesla. Just to account for how many carollas did Toyota sell at $500 gp compared to every Tundra at $10000 gp.

Some of what I was thinking as well. FSD at $10-15k when they can supposedly make a profit on a car that has all the same hardware at base model pricing without FSD. As well they do not need any of their EPA credits and I believe automakers that are currently making EVs still use a lot of their credits to offset the

Aww. My comment was more geared toward this being a parts bin special from parts that Honda has been using for over a decade now. This looks like it could be lifted straight out of 2008 and the only new work done was getting it certified for road use. The cable actuation, drum brakes, and carb are neither bad nor good

Which one? He’s been fairly prolific in this comment section.

Peak bridge right there

This thing was engineered to a price point in 2000.

Most likely those are headed to Renton for production vehicles. :)

Without a “dealer” network to offload all your production onto immediately they may have a disparity between production and delivery. However, given their order backlog, I have to wonder if they are producing vehicles they can’t sell due to missing components or if they are doing extra checks and reviews.

I work in the heavy truck industry and we have huge issues with availability of tires. We are constantly validating new sizes and different models of tires since our normal options have run dry multiple times. Also components that require a lot of metal, axles/frame components, seem to be extending lead times and
