So basically the people who can afford cars are stupid rich and buy exotic cars like suburbia leases suburbans?

Alright someone has some explaining to do.

Regardless of good rates, leftover 2017 GTI’s will have great discounts and 2018 will have decent ones compared to the nearly nonexistent discounts on WRX’s

I would think Audi could cave on a S4 Avant before giving us the full RS. That way they can test the waters and if it sells then they can evaluate selling a much more expensive version and if it tanks they can say “hey you yahoos didn’t buy the cheap one why should we give you the expensive one?” Also I can see them

So a VW Ridgeline? The Ridgeline will finally have a full competitor?

With dealer markup it’ll be 10 years before these depreciate below msrp.

You mean the people who are going to buy the Supra?

Wagon/hatch/lowered crossover doesn’t matter to me! Subaru just needs to make a WRX that’s not a sedan. Subaru is supposed to be quirky there is nothing but conventional about a sedan.

It’s perfect but with 2 car seats I am not the target market. Sigh

If I remember right the Mazda rep from the interview you mentioned specifically said that the turbo engine can not accommodate and AWD system. Most likely if this is true it will be the base engine. It will still be a much needed competitor to Subaru’s blandness.

Now we need to look at if $100,000 is worth .3 sec in that race. The bike is probably around $15k and the NSX is what $120k base price?

I’m almost as concerned about an lsd. If I remember right the fwd CX-9 had a tendency of lighting up the tires and torque steer. I would hope Mazda made 300ftlb @ 2000 rpm managemable.

I would configure my base 2.0T AWD Stinger with $10k in depreciation!

This should be fun!! I wonder what the G-vectoring can do for torque steer since 310 ft-lb is quite a bit for fwd without a lsd or awd? It doesn’t help either that Mazda specifically tuned the 2.5T to produce lots of power in the lower rpm. Let’s hope they make driving matter to us with some zoom-zoom again.

How do you guys think Carmax sells so many cars? First time car buyers worried about getting taken but shop on payment alone, check! People so hopelessly upside down in a car it would be crazy to trade in, check with 28% on 72 month terms!

Never intended that the 1LE and GT350 were competitors, all I was saying is that the 1LE is above the GT w/pp in some metrics. Also the 1LE does give the GT350 some hassle in outright grip and times in certain tracks.

The GT w/PP competes with the standard Camaro in performance the 1LE puts the Camaro into the gray area between the GT and GT350. At least that’s what all the mags and comparisons I’ve seen show. So that means the Camaro is now the cheaper option...how times have changed.

You really have to be drinking the Toyota Coolaid to pay new car prices for well used examples. Before the latest truck market I could understand (maybe) but you now have the GM twins which are arguably better trucks for most people and the Honda Ridgeline which is the better truck for what people will actually use a

Hey!! Nothing wrong with that if your the first one to drive it. Easiest way to avoid being upside down in an unreliable car.

Honda is saying the reason they didn’t use the 2.0T is price? SO? The Focus ST, GTI and WRX all start “closer to $30k” than the Si so it’s not like they’d price themselves out of competition. If they wanted to they could frankly do away with the adaptive dampers, sunroof, dual zone climate and bring the cost back down
