I know Volvos of this generation having owned a few and they are pretty simple cars, even with the turbo engine. If it’s not the timing belt it should be an easy fix - NP. If it’s the timing belt (and it probably is at this mileage if it was never replaced), you’re looking at a new engine - ND.

Shady sponsors and shady host countries - it’s Bernie’s legacy.

Damn, you beat me to it!

Everyone should cancel their trips, including all cisgender people. The only way to get them to change is to hit them in their tourism income.

There was actual demand for Broncos. Whether there is demand for the CT (beyond Tesla fanboys and YouTubers) remains to be seen.

I remember when a reviewer called it “Fishtar” after it bombed worse than Ishtar....

Just keep in mind that max speed on chains is usually 20-30 mph. When I was younger, a friend of mine was going through the mountains and didn’t have snow tires on his Nissan 200sx. His solution was to buy chains and install them before the trip. Off he went on the hwy (at full speed) and got about 50 miles before one

After watching a few videos on the VAG Technic YouTube channel, I’d avoid the 2.9 TFSI engine like the plague. It seems like every video is engine out at 50k miles.

That’s a NP! Would be even better if it were green but it qualifies as a beige wagon with manual transmission.

Isn’t the stock rear a Dana 30? If so, a Dana 44 would be a relatively easy swap as well...

Alternate take: It’s beautiful, it’s (relatively) simple and I do all my own mechanical work. Bonus: It’s f**k it money, so unless you bail after getting it to 90%, you really can’t lose.

I agree - this could be used the other way: you make someone an additional driver on the app and then they reverse harass you when the relationship ends right up to asking Tesla to change the ownership to them. I hate to say I agree with Tesla (and by extension Musk), but they have to side with the registered vehicle

I wanted one of these Diamond Stars so badly when they came out - Eagle Talon TSi for me! I was in Engineering school and by the time I graduated and had a real job, priorities had changed.

I’d just put one of those “Wiley Coyote” stickers on that and call it good.

They are - they have done a lot of work with the VM (aka EcoDiesel). Hopefully they won’t throw rods like the EcoDiesels do on the regular.

I’d accept the defense that she needed to get to SW early so that she didn’t get a middle seat.

Rhymes with Latifi, named after the greatest F1 driver of the modern age!

Ram drivers keep going farther and farther to the right, so no

NP - I wish my 2002 V70 T5 looked this new. Mine is tired and rusty but it has served the family for 21 years with remarkably few issues. IPD suspension parts go a long way to improve the handling of these cars and it looks like this car has stiffened suspension on it.

I’m still waiting for Santos to come clean and admit that this is all performance art a la Andy Kaufman.
