They weren’t pushed to release it early, they set the original release date themselves, and then pushed it back almost a year. This was solely on CDPR’s management.

You could certainly be confused in fall of 2013. Bill Cosby’s fall from grace happened at the end of 2014 (prompted by a Hannibal Buress clip going viral, of all things). Bill Cosby was still putting out comedy specials at the end of 2013 and generally thought of as an adorable elderly figure, going on the talk show

Sadly, they’ll just cash out and keep their heads down for a while until one of their fellow bros at another company offers them a new gig.

Unfortunately, that’s how company culture works. When a new person joins a company and they see something is wrong, and they push against that, mid/upper management will usually string them along, creating this futile effort. Eventually, people realize that nothing will be done and become part of the same machine they

It IS another Souls game, and I DO like those!

Oddly negative tone at the end of the article, which is unusual, since as you said, Miyazaki’s titles have been quite strong.

I’ll continue to shout this to the heavens: Andromeda is a good game! But it VERY OBVIOUSLY got rushed, and a lot of story elements just didn’t get to breathe, and it DEFINITELY had way too much filler
