I noticed a link to this on Youtube last night when I wanted to hear "Einstein Disintegrated" from the original score; a bit annoyed I didn't bother to look at it until now, though I'm grateful someone pointed out that it's more than worth a listen.

Somebody had to call it.
That said, that is quite astute.

I was actually thinking about how 3-D printing could make these designs less unwieldy; you might not be able to change aerodynamics - or maybe you could scan the cars and tweak them a little before making a copy, if you'd like - but you could make the cars again with these printers and various types of materials to

Putting the words "police" and "Subaru" in the same sentence just brings this to mind...
And now I'll spend the rest of the day daydreaming about whether they'd have the cheek to blast the Hot Fuzz theme on a chase.

Hell, it even had an asymmetrical-split windshield. Who does that?

You forgot to add the fact he laughed right after that and he's already let him play a few missions; he's probably just joking around. I'm sure he's a lot better father than those letting their kids get too absorbed into it.

Do have to wonder what his son'll think of hearing a character with his dad's voice suggest to

Eh, twist the words by calling it the "Volunteer Fire-Fighter", and I think we're golden.

It looks like a car from Grand Theft Auto-
and I mean that in the best way possible, in that it looks like a lovely hodgepodge of muscle car designs.
And I'd appropriately, happily punt someone out of the driver's seat and greedily substitute myself if I'd the chance.

They let you download the pictures you take off the Social Club site?
That's awesome, and handy -
I've decided to write an article on the full game for my college's paper, and I was hoping I could have Trevor do a selfie in front of some carnage as the article photo.

I get what you're saying, but I can't help but feel knowing beforehand prevents you getting your hopes up about certain aspects, only for them to come crashing down...
Just no fun to get excited to see something, have suspense raised as you race over to it, then realize it's nothing more than scenery, putting a damper

Aw, the jets aren't VTOL anymore?
That would've swiping one a lot easier, instead of having to move around to take off.

I love that Apple's allowing a game company make an app based off the satirical spin of their own products...
I know people probably want the app for non-Apple products, but I guess self-deprecation's the point.

If I see signs reading "Cat Warning" in Japan, I'd assume it's so you don't get sideswiped by this drifting around the corner or leaping off the local roofs...

I think the movie did the same for me though I was focused only on the one car;
I can't even recall riding in or seeing any car before seeing the DeLorean rumbling out of the GMC Value Van on my family's big screen TV back in the early 90s, when I was about 4 or 5.

I'm so used to multiple segmented islands that it just looks so weird...
Also jarring to see mostly green when I'm used to a good chunk of desert, though I know this' basically supposed to be 2 counties that are expies of California's greener areas, not the whole state.

I seriously expect at least one online game to comprise of 16 helicopters combing the entirety of the map...
Wonder if the police copters have usable searchlights.

I'm quasi-fortunate in that my college classes don't start until the 24th;
Quasi because the online version starts on a Tuesday, when I have a Tuesday-Thursday schedule.
Anybody have the slightest clue if the special-special edition preorder comes with a speedy delivery?

Though I do worry about what happened to the little dude after that impressive dive, a Noper fleeing with hardly any concern about injury seems fitting.

That would've been hilariously awesome...
I'd say the blatant mention of LA would require some tinkering into "LS", but it seems they're outright being paradoxical with at least one song having "California" right in the title.

I don't quite get what's being spoiled about the game...
If anything, the "spoilers" are just hints about what's in the game, and while it's fun to just stumble upon features, it's nice to have a warning as to what can/can't be done, just so you don't get your hopes too high.
