Don’t you spray fruit with water to prevent it from freezing, in the winter? I see them do it all the time with oranges. Wouldn’t blowing the water off of the grape plants make them freeze more?

This is common practice in New Zealand when they try to prevent the wine crops from freezing in the winter.
