I can't help but feel that this article is intentionally dismissive of the Cannon's desire to attempt something outside their field of expertise. The quite immature "Of Course" in the headline doesn't exactly dissuade me from that conclusion.

The flaw in your argument is that the specific properties that would make the perfect tree are objective and known, while the properties that would make a perfect video game are not. Also, video games do not have a specific, universal Archetype (no, "fun" is inherently subjective)
