I really don’t understand why eye tracking isn’t mandatory for all driver assist programs. Torqueing or touching the steering wheel proves you have a hand, nothing more. Some days, it feels like a quarter the Tesla drivers I pass on the road have one hand rested on the steering wheel while they stare at their phones.
