It wont take long to fill this niche and sales drop like a rock.  It is priced way higher than it was supposed to, has much less range, and is turning out to be built like crap.  Resale is already below MSRP and will continue to go down fast.  

Because there are few other EV trucks, and most of the people who buy a truck for truck things aren’t going to buy and EV.

Former truck driver here specializing in those specific trailers (called ‘end dumps’).  I now manage those drivers and I can tell you there’s an adage in our industry: “If you’re dumb AF drive a truck.”  

How do you not notice the bed is raised? I can tell when I have stuff strapped to the roof of my car, just by the way it handles. How can a driver haul off with their bed up and not notice the truck is handling squirrelly long before it plows into anything.

What a terrible idea. Imagine if you had someone that really didn’t like you and they decided to light up your house all night? I am getting a bit sick of the “move fast, break something” mentality that has no regard for anything but themselves.
