I actually saw a Lordstown (in Metro Detroit) about a week ago.
Yep - I basically would never use my heat in my Volt, except for about 3-4 minutes to precondition the cabin before I’d leave for work (it was plugged in and would use ~1kW of house power to assist, rather than using all battery). Otherwise it was just heated seat and steering wheel to keep me warm in winter.
Don’t worry, they’ll get it perfected in five years when they release it.
