I just dropped $3,400 on the quintessential Cash For Clunkers econobox: The 2009 Nissan Versa.

We just put Michelin X-Ice Snows on a set of 18" “base” Regal wheels on my brother’s ‘18 Regal GS (they clear the Brembos - possibly better than the factory 19s)...that thing should be similarly unstoppable in snow, especially with the trick twin-clutch rear diff.

I’m really digging the throwback Michigan Winter Water Wonderland plates from 1965 that just came out. When I am up for a new plate, I definitely will be going with one of these.

But then you couldn’t pretentiously tell everyone how they should be debt-free like you would be.

Now they can finally make a Lego Mercury Mistress!

I swear I saw nearly exactly part of this in a recent Cook’s Country (or was it Cook’s Illustrated) magazine...

This thing totally reminds me of Prey.
